What customization options are available for PCAP?

JuTouch offers a wide and flexible range of customization options for our projected capacitive (PCAP) touch panels, covering every major component of the touch module so that we can tailor the solution to your specific application. The first customization area is the cover glass: we can supply cover glass in thicknesses from 0.7mm up to 10mm or more, with options including chemical strengthening (to achieve hardness up to 7H or 9H), AG (anti-glare), AR (anti-reflection), and AF (anti-fingerprint) coatings, silk-screen printing of logos, borders, and decorative graphics, as well as custom shapes such as rounded corners, curved edges, or even 2.5D and 3D profiles. The second area is the touch sensor: we offer glass-based and film-based sensor structures, different ITO patterning and trace designs, and flexible choices regarding the number of touch channels and electrode pitch, allowing us to optimize sensitivity, linearity, and cost for your project. The third area is the IC controller: we work with leading touch controller suppliers and can select the most suitable chip based on your required touch points (from single touch up to 40-point multi-touch), response time, power consumption, glove/water compatibility, and operating system support. We can also implement custom firmware tuning, including gesture recognition, palm rejection, and noise filtering algorithms. The fourth area is the FPC (flexible printed circuit): we customize the FPC length, pin pitch, gold finger layout, connector type (such as ZIF, FPC socket, or board-to-board), EMI shielding, and routing to match your mainboard perfectly. Beyond these four core components, we also offer optional value-added services such as optical bonding with OCA/OCR to the LCD, integrated touch-and-display assemblies, and complete EMC/ESD testing.
